This is PLUSH, who was found under a car in Andalucia as a tiny kitten, just after her brother had been run over. This photo was taken when she was still in Spain, she is now living in Shetland as the matriarch (imagine Maggie Smith as a cat) of six other rescues.

Oso (which means small bear in spanish) originally lived in a tiny stone cottage in the middle of a vast pine forest in Andalucia. Then his owner moved to Sevilla and left him behind. Eventually he turned up at our place and became part of the family. He now lives in Shetland too. Hard to see in this photo (it was taken at sunset), but he is a ginger tabby except for the face and tail which are grey.

WOOLLEY was born in Alajar, a small village famous for its wild mushrooms, in Andalucia. He is now 13 and lives in Shetland.

Two feral cats in Almonaster la Real, Spain who were part of the TNR programme there run by our twinned rescue group Animales Protegidos de Almonaster la Real.
