Our Ambassador Tommy is on a mission to help more stray cats & kittens in Shetland so he’s decided to go on a recruitment drive for keen volunteers in a number of roles within Shetland Cat Rescue!
Today, his special and urgent request is for fosterers!
Fosterers are super-important people at Shetland Cat Rescue. They give temporary homes to our stray cats and kittens, helping them to get fit and healthy, teaching them how to play and adjust to normal life in a household so that eventually they find their perfect forever home.
Could you help? There’s no cost to you – all food, litter, litter trays and pens are provided. Vet fees are covered and you’ll get as much help and support as you need.
You just need to love cats, have plenty of patience and time and preferably a spare room to accommodate your foster cat.
